* This site gets its name from my slightly obsessive use of footnotes. You will see lots of footnotes in every post. Some of these will either prevent me from plagiarizing by telling you who I am quoting, others will give definitions for words that aren’t very common outside of church these days, and still others will provide witty or helpful notes. If you want to read more about any particular idea, the book(s) mentioned in any footnote are a good place to start!
